Biography

Graduated from the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Professor Olga Kondina). She refined her skills in masterclasses with Teodor Currentzis, Jennifer Larmore, Dmitry Vdovin, and Tamara Novichenko. She is a laureate and diploma winner of numerous international and all-Russian competitions. Ivetta Simonian's professional debut took place in 2023 as the Queen of the Night in Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute" at the St. Petersburg Music Hall theater. From 2023 to 2025, she was a soloist at the Mariinsky Theatre Primorsky Stage and took part in the First Far Eastern Easter Festival. In the 2025/2026 season, Ivetta Simonian became an artist at the Anton Rubinstein Academy. As part of the Academy, she made her debut in the musicAeterna and Teodor Currentzis project "Hændel. A Ceremony Dedicated to George Frideric Handel," which was presented in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Thessaloniki, Madrid, Valencia, and Barcelona. In September 2026, she performed on the stage of the Moscow New Opera Theater in the title role of Pascal Dusapin's opera Passion with the musicAeterna orchestra and choir conducted by Teodor Currentzis.
