Puppet master, laureate of the Russian National Theatre Award "Golden Mask"
Artist. Puppet maker. From 1981 to 1984, he worked at the Tambov Puppet Theatre. He graduated from SPbGATI (St. Petersburg State Academy of Theatre Arts) in 1991 with a degree in set design for puppet theatre and completed an internship at the puppet theatre department. From 1994 to 2003, he was a technical instructor and teacher at SPbGATI. From 1997 to 2002, he worked in Germany. He designed productions in Russia and abroad. As a director and artist, he staged the solo program with circus marionettes "Circus on Strings" and the play "The Cat Who..." based on R. Kipling at the "Puppet Format" Theatre. Artist, co-author of the concept and stage text (together with Boris Konstantinov) for the play "Iron" at the Puppet Theatre of the Republic of Karelia. Since September 2017, together with Boris Konstantinov, he has been the head of the workshop for directors and set designers of puppet theatre at RATI (GITIS). Puppet maker for the play "Khoja Nasreddin" at the Theatre of Nations. Laureate of Golden Mask Awards.
